HOW DO YOU WANT TO LIVE?

When    12th & 13th June 2010

Where   The Quadrangle Farm, middle of nowhere, Kent

This is a gathering for people who are exploring different ways of life; ways of weaving city life with rural living, and new social, family, home and work structures that can act as bridges between urban and rural.

You will meet people with great ideas and hear about live and emergent projects that are making different ways of living possible.

What’s the point?
As Jack Johnson said, “it’s always better when we’re together.”
This event is a time for:
People to find projects
Projects to find people
People to find people, and exchange useful ideas and knowledge

The programme:
Saturday
Arrive 4-5pm Settle in, pitch tents etc.
6pm BBQ
Evening activities:
Talk around the Talkaoke table: hear what people are doing, tell what you’re doing, or what you want to do.
Project in my pocket: learn about the projects that could help or involve you.
Music and performances around the fire

Sunday
Slow breakfast
Gardening for those interested
Guided walk
Pub lunch
Walk some more
Closing circle
Travel home late afternoon

Food and Drink
Saturday night dinner is a BBQ. Limina will provide a bit of nosh but the £25 ticket cost doesn’t stretch very far so please do bring something nice to contribute to a BBQ.
Something to drink if you would like to drink.
Breakfast will be provided. (catering for all diets)
Sunday lunch is in a pub so bring your wallet for that if you’re staying for all of Sunday.

Sleeping
For the first 16 people to book- you can reserve a bed in the dormitory or camp with everyone else if you’re prefer to. Please bring your own tent/sleeping equipment. There’s good access to bathrooms and showers.

Make a £10 deposit at We Got Tickets (advance booking essential) + £15 cash upon arrival, so £25 in total for the whole event. Any further donations to support Limina’s work gratefully appreciated!

Once you have paid the deposit through We Got Tickets please email rachel@limina.org.uk to receive all necessary info, location and directions (due to data protection we can’t email you!)
